Candlemaking Workshops
Create your own custom candle in our candlemaking workshops! Enjoy learning how to blend fragrances to design your own unique scent profile under the guidance of our candle-making experts. Workshops are offered everyday during open business hours, and are such a fun way to celebrate birthdays, bachelorette parties, work parties, baby showers, or just a fun night out.
If you have a group of 10-20 people or need space for food + drink, please fill out this form to book your party.
How it works:
Choose your container: Bring in your own container or select one from our vessel shelf in store (see current vessels below).
Choose your fragrances: Create a full-bodied scent through learning how to mix fragrances.
Mix + Pour!
Making your candle takes about 30 minutes, but your creation will need to set for 3-5 hours before you can take it home. Go grab a meal or a cup of coffee while perusing the other shops in the wealthy street shopping district!

How much does it cost?
Our vessel shelf offers candle containers ranging from $30-$60. If you bring in your own container, pricing starts at $24 and increases based on the size of the jar. This usually makes average sized containers around $30-$50.
Can I bring my own container?
Yes! Any candle safe container (glass, ceramic, etc) like canning jars, ceramic projects, or other candle containers are a great option. Some container finding tips include containers with flat bottoms (for wick placement), and thick walls. Please note that containers must be over 5oz to ensure a proper burn!
What is the wax used?
We use natural soy wax to make all of our candles. This wax is made from USA grown soy beans- learn more about soy wax on our blog.
What type of fragrance is used?
We use pure therapeutic grade essential oils, and all natural clean burning fragrance oils that are toxin free.
How long does it take?
The candlemaking experience takes around 30 minutes, and your candle will take 3-5 hours to set. This is a great way to go explore the wealthy street shopping district- go grab a meal, coffee, or a cocktail and swing by after to pick up your candle creation!
Are reservations needed?
Walk-ins are welcome for groups under 10 people! If you have a large group of 10-20 people, please email sablecandleco@gmail.com to coordinate your party.
Can I bring drinks and food?
You may bring your own refreshments to fit at your workshop table! If you need space for food and drinks, or are bringing in catering, please email sablecandleco@gmail.com to coordinate your party.
Are workshops kid friendly?
Yes! This is a great activity for kids who can generally sit and keep an attention span of 10-15 minutes, and follow your direction through basic steps. This is such a great gift idea for mother’s day or father’s day!
